Responsibility
Identity solutions are developed, implemented, tested, and operated in accordance with technical reference architecture
Create and execute strategies for managing customer identities, including registration, authentication, authorization, and user profile management.
Provides guidance for conversations to eliminate barriers and foster collaboration among teams.
Monitor the performance of CIAM systems and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with teams such as marketing, sales, and IT to align CIAM initiatives with business goals.
Provides engineering designs for new identity solutions to reduce fraud and improve customer experiences
Creates code to customize identity processes or interoperate with APIs.
Evaluates identity tools and features and integrates them as necessary.
Ensures that technical documentation is maintained. Collaborates with other developers and capability teams to evaluate and create standards, methods, and architectures related to identity.
Builds identity test cases (authentication, federation, authorization, and lifecycle) that can be used with teams from different disciplines.
The ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across the technology stack is aided by using logs and monitoring tools
Gives constructive and actionable feedback to teams across different disciplines
Offers guidance and assistance to team members regarding identity-related topics
Qualification and experience
A minimum of 8 years of experience in identity or related fields is required.
Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining multiple components of the Ping Identity suite, including PingFederate and PingDirectory.
Experience working with standards and protocols typical of an identity solution environment, such LDAP, SAML, Oauth, OIDC, SCIM, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/HTML, etc. is required
Having proven work experience as an identity management engineer is necessary
Technical expertise in authentication and authorization techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities is necessary.
Experience in the User registration, authentication, authorization, and user profile management, design of user journeys/workflows and digital user experience is required
Software Development Experience In Java Is Required
Must possess an understanding of how business initiatives create value and risk for organizations
Must have strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skill
