Role Overview: As the Vice President of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's procurement strategy to support its manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will lead a high-performing procurement team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize sourcing, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure supply chain resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, optimize supplier selection, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to optimize value and minimize risk.
- Implement supplier performance measurement frameworks, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and reliability.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline supply chain processes and ensure seamless integration of procurement activities.
- Lead initiatives to optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning, balancing supply and demand to meet business objectives effectively.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical procurement practices, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results.
