The Director of IT Support is tasked with providing visionary leadership, planning, and management for the development, acquisition, implementation, and support of information systems.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Providing leadership and management of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) division to help envision future direction and goals.
- Managing members of the OIT staff.
- Ensuring the provision of comprehensive, integrated, reliable, high-quality services in areas such as backbone and local area networking, network security, and telecommunications.
- Ensuring the development of and adherence to college standards in all areas of network and telecommunication services.
- Acting as a liaison between network, desktop, and telecommunication vendors, operating companies, regulatory agencies, and other external bodies involved in these service areas.
- Participating in the development of consulting support and user education activities related to the use of networks and telecommunications by faculty, staff, and students.
- Performing special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. 5-7 years of experience in leadership and management in a university IT environment. High-level knowledge of network, telecommunications, and computing equipment management.
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000
