Role Description
As an MSP Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our break-fix computer shop into a Managed Services Provider (MSP) model. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and sales acumen. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the MSP division, ensuring smooth service delivery, client satisfaction, and revenue growth through effective B2B sales strategies. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
Transition Management - leading a transition process to a managed services model while collaborating with senior management to establish clear objectives, timelines and performance metrics.
Service Delivery Oversight - supervising the delivery of services to clients and ensuring adherence to service level agreements and quality standards looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
Technical Expertise - with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and cloud technologies working with senior staff to provide guidance to support services staff.
Client Relationship Management - cultivating relationships with clients understanding their business and IT needs, conducting regular client meetings and fulfilling the role of trusted client advisor.
B2B Business Development - developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients along with collaborating with sales team to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
Team Leadership and Development - leading, mentoring and motivating a team of professionals that spans multiple locations fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence and promoting a work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability and continuous learning.
