Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Onsite @ Denver CO
Rate: $45 w2
Preferred Someone who can bring prior telecom industry exp.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Experience with s3 CLI and API scripting.
- Familiarity with middleware and telecom technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux distributions and administration.
- Understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network communications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Git, Jenkins, and CodePipeline.
- Proficiency in virtualization and containerized orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, load balancing, and pod security.
- Expertise in Linux systems administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with various AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in infrastructure or application automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Six years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting public cloud platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code solutions like Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Conceptual understanding of DevOps and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of operational process improvement.
- AWS certifications (Associate level and higher) and Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
