This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the company's host computers, including monitoring system performance, maintenance, and repair. Responsibilities include maintaining records of system downtime and equipment inventory, applying software revisions, and collaborating with vendors for support.
Additionally, the position entails developing implementation plans and testing procedures, training technical staff, and supervising operations personnel. Tasks also include troubleshooting, establishing and managing user accounts, installing and maintaining system software, and ensuring high availability of critical resources.
Moreover, the role involves developing security procedures, backup and restoration protocols, and coordinating project schedules. It also includes staying updated on technological advancements and recommending ways to leverage new technology for the company's benefit.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for
- the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
- Modern Management (VMWare/Microsoft), Microsoft Azure, and/or MCSE certifications preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience required with end-user hardware, software, and application
- support.
- Five years of experience in complex systems design, programming and systems software and
- support.
- Azure AD required
Implementation in aspects of the product set including but not limited to: (preferred)
o Microsoft Intune, Azure
o Endpoint security – compliance, baselines, and policy
o BitLocker
o Windows: Windows 10 design, deployment, and configuration (autopilot, Azure AD joined
and Hybrid); Deployment Services WDS
o End to end deployment for client devices
o Server and Client Operating Systems
o PowerShell and scripting techniques
o Designing Software Delivery solutions from conception to delivery, including creating
architectural documentation HLD, LLD, User and Install Guides
o Advanced troubleshooting and fault resolution
