Overview /Objective
The NFL Privacy Office is looking to fill a Privacy Coordinator role. Reporting to Senior Privacy Manager within the Legal Department, this role will be support the operation of an enhanced data privacy program across the League. This will include working closely with the Data Management, Marketing, Analytics and other business partners and technology teams, as well as representatives of all member Clubs to ensure a consistent approach to data privacy throughout our business.
Responsibilities
- Work closely and maintain a professional relationship with multiple business units.
- Conduct research and compile and organize informational reports and presentations.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, amendments, releases, and schedules using established templates.
- Maintain the privacy document repository including ensuring those policies are up to date and in-line with the current regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Build a knowledge of applicable federal, state, and relevant international privacy laws and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate, review, and prepare briefing materials, presentations, and correspondences with both internal and external parties.
- Assist with response to third party vendor assessment requests.
- Assess stakeholder compliance with specific privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited 4-Year College or University.
- At least 2 years of experience working in data privacy.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in the use of OneTrust platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a compliance, audit, or legal context a plus
- CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT or other privacy certifications from the IAPP or similar organization
- OneTrust Professional or Expert certifications

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
