Director of Risk Management

Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Risk Management to lead our risk mitigation efforts. You will identify potential threats and create plans to prevent, eliminate, or reduce accidents, injuries, and loss.
In this role, you should be highly perceptive and methodical. You should also have the ability to communicate effectively and present your plans in a convincing way. If you have experience in risk analysis and loss prevention, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our company secures its reputation and profitability by controlling risk.
Reports to Vice President of Quality Assurance.
Summary Of Responsibilities
- OSHA – training and compliance
- Fleet Telematics – develop and execute team member safety and accident reduction through fleet telematics initiatives
- Risk Analysis – conduction risk analysis assessments in multiple areas of our company
- Safety Training – develop and facilitate safety training
- Company Policy – review, revise and support all company risk mitigation and safety policies
- Lead Company Risk Mitigation efforts.
Minimum Qualifications – Experience And Skills
- Proven experience as a Risk or Loss Prevention Director
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control
- Experience with auditing and reporting procedures
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations (e.g. Occupational Safety and Health Act)
- Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of analysis software is preferred (e.g. Statistical Analysis Software, or SAS)
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
