Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the company’s business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) operations and serves as BC/DR point-of-contact for the organization.

Plans and coordinates the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional areas and ensures that recovery procedures are effective for the restoration of key corporate resources and for the resumption of critical business processes.

Performs risk assessments and related analyses, including the establishment of RTO/RPO.

I serve as the Deputy Program Manager for the SMARTeam at SAIC. We currently are working on an FBI COOP contract which was awarded in 2009.

I am also a Senior Business Continuity Professional. I was the IT lead for all COOP projects within the FBI to include their RRS install and setup and their emergency alert notification system for the entire FBI. I also supported all compliance initiatives with National Communications System Directive (NCSD) 3-10 and was tasked as lead for all FBI Pandemic Influenza planning.

I have worked with our team supporting various COOP activities to include the State of the Union address, Eagle Horizon 09, 11 and National Level Exercise 2010.

I have presented at the annual FBI COOP conference, instructed three of the top five FBI Field Divisions how to utilize the emergency alert notification system and provided instruction to an additional three field offices and headquarters divisions.
