These in turn enable excellent client service in the market and enable rapid corporate growth.
As VP of Cyber Security at SuprTEK, Les leads the service delivery, strategic development and business development for the horizontal, competency-aligned, Information Assurance / Cyber Security Line-of-Business across the Intelligence, Defense, Federal/Civil and Commercial markets. Responsibilities include the ID/IQ strategy, strategic alliances, teaming, M&A, high-performance team building and academic relationship development to deliver superior Cyber Security services to our clients and be a preferred provider in the market.

Prior to joining Booz-Allen-Hamilton, Mr. Owens was Technical Director for Nortel Networks where he led the development of solution sets related to securing various wireless technologies including 802.11 wireless LANs, wireless VPNs, and Third-Generation (3G) wireless networks. He was also the chief security architect for Nortel’s enterprise products organization responsible for developing robust and standardized security features across the product line, including routers, IPSEC VPNs, and VoIP (Voice-Over-IP) products. From 1997-1999, Mr. Owens was the Executive Director of Fraud and Security for satellite / cellular operator, Iridium LLC, where he was responsible for establishing fraud management and security operations worldwide .
Mr. Owens is a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of CS at Georgetown and the former technical editor of the monthly publication, Wireless Security Perspectives. He is the holder of nine US patents.
