Responsible for identifying requirements, determining solutions, and providing the architectural design for the development and deployment of a NG 9-1-1 solution to operate as a Comtech-owned cloud service. This effort includes leading a team of senior engineers in the development of the core operational cloud-based infrastructure, SIP signaling networks, NG9-1-1 location and routing elements and systems management components.

• Utilize DEVOPS automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to deploy cloud-based services within a nationwide cloud architecture.

• Develop and design a business and technical case for a full cloud based as-a-service NG9-1-1 NGCS model.

 Performed hardware reviews and down-selected an initial storage infrastructure system. Produced technical design documents for use in response to a customer’s RFP.

 After award(s), produced final infrastructure designs of storage infrastructure from VNX array through Brocade fiber network and server end-points.

 Developed seamless integration and data migration strategies to limit the downtime of server reboots for new HBA card installations
