Worked in several Branches within A and W Departments at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) as the Senior Combat System Leader for Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) and Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Combat System Element and Group Leader branch’s. My collateral duties included Branch financial planning representative, Alternate COMSEC Custodian (CMS Representative), Equal Opportunity Officer Representative, Contracting Officer Representative, Awards Board Committee Representative, and time management and approval officer.
Within the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and present Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) responsibilities, successfully achieved Platform Information Technology (PIT) designation and Categorization approval for all Littoral variant Freedom and Independence Hulls to meet the Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for Step 1 and proceedings into Step 2 of RMF process with Functional Security Control Assessor (FSCA) signature approval. This approval marked an important milestone for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program which reflects critical forward progression of progress in regards to cybersecurity readiness of the LCS Fleet. Successfully achieved the accreditation of all Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) MK2 Afloat and Ashore software baselines in operational support of Carrier Vessel Navy (CVN)-Ford Class, CVN-Nimitz class, Landing Ship Dock (LSD), Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD), Landing Helicopter Assault (LHA), and Landing Platform Dock (LPD) carrier hulls which also included Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) UPX-36(V)4. During FY16, developed and submitted 16 PRA packages with 12 successful accreditations. Received a letter of appreciation form the Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) 10.0 form the Major Program Manager (MPM) for successful implementation and execution of Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) testing of LHA-6 (USS America) during Developmental Testing (DT).
