Provide business value through the identification and prioritization of enterprise information security risks as well as client engagement on information security related issues. Developed a strategy and roadmap for effective program implementation based upon company risk tolerance and change management capabilities. Leveraged ISO 27001 ISMS and now moving the organization to align with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and to obtain SOC2 attestation. Established new policies and initiated an extensive education and training program which includes an annual InfoSec Calendar, phishing, monthly blogs, quarterly senior management newsletter, an ambassador program, and other activities. Prior to this, for CIA, built the Information Exploitation Group to address a need for language support and data management and exploitation. Identified gaps and established data exploitation methodology for review of significant quantities of data. As a result, the organization now more effectively manages its data stream and the time for exploitation of information was significantly reduced.
Use the data exploitation and review techniques as Deputy Chief of the Wikileaks Task Force, which assessed potential risk to the organization and its employees.Responsible for the development of a Division to implement a new organizational vision for training and education. Drafted strategy and implementation plan and worked with others to achieve buy in for the program. Focused on new policies and potential constraints to implementation. Brought disparate views together to achieve a common vision and direction for the transformation. Established timelines, metrics for success and other measures. Worked across the organization and federal government in support of this success. As a result, the training and professional development of every employee has advanced significantly.
In addition, led the development of a new training and education program for the organization that focused on training of specific tradecraft throughout an employee's career.

Chief Learning Officer of the intelligence community (IC) responsible for revamping the IC learning enterprise and foreign language programs. Led integrated IC efforts to : issued IC-wide education and training policy guidance; established IC-wide learning enterprise architecture; and integrated the IC civilian workforce with its defense counterparts. As a result, the training programs within the seventeen members of the IC began to more closely align, better servicing all officers. In addition, represented the ODNI at various Congressional and staff hearings As ODNI Deputy Chief of Staff, coordinated the initial drafting of several policies and procedures as well as managed the flow of information from throughout the DNI, across the IC, and into the White House.
