My current role at Marathon Petroleum Corporation is Cybersecurity Architect and Enterprise Architect.
I Collaborate with many teams and on many projects while working to architect a secure solution based on our internal cybersecurity standards, some of which I have authored. My focus is on securing cloud technologies while working on O365, AWS, Azure, and other SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions, but I am also responsible for on-premise or traditional technologies.
Marathon is the nation's largest Oil refiner, with the capacity to produce over 3 million barrels a day in their 16 refiners. Marathon also has over 3900 retail stores and over 7800 company locations.

Effect policies for mobile device management(MDM), implement new ticketing solutions, and managed cloud operations.

Contributed to the maintenance and administration of 1.2K+ servers and devices internally, in addition to numerous cloud service servers in AWS, Microsoft Azure Services, and Rackspace. Served as the Lead Engineer and primary point of contact for IT Engineers.
• Transitioned offices from MPLS to SD-WAN and cloud security for a $250K annual savings.
• Cut hosting costs by 70% through shifting backend hosting providers, Rackspace, to AWS in North America.
• Successfully implemented ERP SaaS solution in AWS for significant additional sales opportunities and revenue.
• Led training of internal support staff to administrate AWS servers for a savings of $48K annually.
• Standardized Hypervisor from VMWare to Hyper-V to drive a $33K YoY cost savings.
• Identified hardware and software equivalents in lieu of mainstream brands to effect a 50% savings YoY.
