Dr. Tricia McGill is the Director of the Google Public Sector Academy and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where she teaches information assurance and cybersecurity risk management. McGill has more than twenty years of experience in the private and public sectors with information technologies, analysis, and cybersecurity. McGill served several years as a social scientist with the US Army and more than a decade as a science, technology, and weapons analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency. She has a doctorate in Anthropology from the University of Arkansas, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Communications. She has conducted extensive research observing cultural patterns related to the nexus between humans and cyber technologies.
