Director of Marketing
OVERVIEW
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the Arctic Fox / Foxology 360 marketing
strategy and success across DTC and B2B channels. They will lead a team of creatives, strategists, and
marketing managers in order to develop and execute a per-channel strategy, keeping the Arctic Fox brand
at the forefront to ensure the brand remains top of mind and #1 in the category across channels and
regions.
The Director of Marketing will oversee customer acquisition, retention marketing, product marketing,
influencer marketing, social media marketing, integrated marketing, and customer service. The ideal
candidate is a creative and strategic leader who can seamlessly review key metrics in order to
communicate brand and storytelling while improving overall company performance. Prior experience in
growing fashion and/or beauty brands is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Strategic Planning: develop and execute a distinct channel strategy to align with achieving
company revenue goals and ensure seamless implementation across paid/organic social media,
email/SMS, app, website/Amazon, retail partners, brand partners, influencers and PR to set the
Arctic Fox brand apart. Ensure strategy updates are made quarterly to meet the needs of the
business.
● Budget Management: develop annual marketing spend to ensure all dollars are spent effectively
and efficiently to achieve the KPIs to grow the brand in every channel.
● Team Lead: inspire and lead the marketing team to work both independently and collaboratively,
understanding clear goals and providing the guidance and tools to achieve channel-specific goals
and shared objectives.
● Customer Acquisition: analyze trends and ever-evolving customer behavior in order to implement
a best-in-class strategy focused on feeding top of the funnel for new customer acquisition.
● Retention & Loyalty: maintain brand love and concise communication to keep the AF customer at
the center of all retention channels, listening to their requests, wants and needs while maintaining
a competitive loyalty program.
● Community: continue to highlight the importance of the AF community at the center of the brand
through effective community building tactics and attending to customer service issues.
● Product: collaborate with product development to ensure new products are meeting the needs of
the loyal AF community and are at the forefront of innovation within the category. Ensure all new
product launches are impactful and infused with the brand identity for success.
● Brand: oversee all creative ideation and execution for quarterly photoshoots, influencers, social
media content creation to ensure brand image and brand voice are cohesive but impactful.
● Retail Marketing: partner with internal teams to support marketing needs with key retail partners
in order to grow the brand's business both in-store and online.
● Performance Analysis: review weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for all paid/organic social
media, email/SMS, influencer and integrated marketing to ensure the existing strategy is working
and allowing room for improvement and updates as necessary.
● Oversee all agency partners, provide strategy and goals with clear communication
● Seamless communication across internal teams so everyone is looped in and working towards a
collective goal and mindset.
● Innovate new strategic thinking across the board, and optimize performance across all social
media activations
● Build and maintain relationships with rescue partners
● Remain flexible to adapt quickly to the latest social media trend, while also being able to stay
ahead of the curve in an ever evolving industry to harness emerging trends, technologies and
consumer insights
● Understand how to leverage social media as a tool to inspire conversion, drive sales, and ignite
quality community growth
● All other tasks and responsibilities will be assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
● Minimum of 10+ years in social media and brand marketing
● Minimum 7+ years leading a marketing team to achieve company goals
● Minimum 7+ years managing a team to their highest potential
● Minimum 5+ years within beauty and/or fashion industry
● Experience growing brands with new audiences and in new regions
● Experience with a 360 marketing approach
● Natural storyteller who understands the brand DNA, voice and aesthetics
● Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work to in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while maintaining a positive
“can-do” attitude
● Collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset to finding new ways to drive results
● Experience using analytical tools included but not limited to Dash Hudson, CreatorIQ, Google
