Job Title: Head of Production
Location: Los Angeles, California-Onsite role
Our client is a renowned jewelry brand based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in creating ethereal and nature-inspired jewelry pieces, meticulously crafted with exquisite attention to detail and using the finest materials.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Production to oversee all aspects of the jewelry production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in jewelry manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
As the Head of Production, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of our jewelry pieces while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team, including artisans, craftsmen, and production staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Oversee the sourcing of materials and components required for production, ensuring timely procurement and inventory management.
- Collaborate with design and creative teams to interpret and execute design concepts into production-ready jewelry pieces.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all finished products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and ethical practices in the workplace.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in jewelry manufacturing techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in jewelry production management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design and production tools (preferred).
- Understanding of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in jewelry production (preferred).
