What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor systems and networks for threats and potential security breaches.
- Execute information security activities such as vulnerability management, application development security, business continuity, networking, risk management, internal and external security audits, etc.
- Execute incident response activities on identified suspicious activity and threats.
- Collect information to develop protections and recommend software solutions.
- Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity training to Savage team members.
- Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading security measures, policies, and controls.
- Ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated.
- Evaluate third-party relationships for compliance with organization security standards.
- Research security trends, new methods, and techniques to reduce/eliminate the possibility of a system breach.
- Complete detailed reports to provide visibility to Savage leadership.
- Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of systems and network operations.
- Have foundational knowledge of cloud cyber risk for AWS.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on information security-related projects and initiatives assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality on all sensitive security matters.
- Be available for night/weekend system maintenance/troubleshooting as needed.
- Complete projects on time.
- Must be able to travel 0-10% of the time.

What You Need To Be Successful
- A bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent information security experience.
- Experience and understanding of the NIST security framework.
- Knowledge of penetration testing, network security, and the techniques and tools used to expose and correct security flaws.
- A broad understanding of security technologies including AWS, firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus software, and IDPs.
- The ability to identify and spotlight vulnerabilities on on-premises and cloud networks, correct problems, and prevent security breaches.
