Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of open architectures, applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure optimal Cloud deployment and consumption.
- Recommend improvements to enhance Cloud capabilities and facilitate the adoption of Cloud best practices, including DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, and Micro-Services.
- Collaborate on the architecture, design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of cloud solutions.
- Work closely with the Cyber Security team to ensure the security and compliance of applications and solutions.
- Provide innovative solutions to address problems and enhance services for our customers.
- Report task status and prioritize assignments effectively.
- Contribute effectively as part of project teams.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on-premise and cloud resources.
- Extensive networking experience (5+ years).
- Experience in operating system administration and operation (2+ years).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (2+ years).
- Proficiency in high-order software languages such as C, C++, Java, Python (2+ years).
- Experience in container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker (2+ years).
- Familiarity with source code repositories and defect management systems.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to brief technical topics to various audiences.
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve systemic problems.
- Familiarity with RDMS, NoSQL, or Graph databases.
- Experience with service-based architectures and Web APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools administration.
- Proficiency in writing Linux bash scripts.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Microsoft Bicep.
- Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Platforms and Federation Services.
- IAT Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security +).
- Experience deploying on DOD networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS).
- Administration experience with Microsoft Enterprise CA and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Familiarity with Information Assurance programs.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CASP, CISSP, CompTIA Cloud+, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Professional, SAFe Practitioner, Scrum Master, Product Owner.
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying custom air-gapped systems.
