Your Role
The Operations team plays a critical role in the success of O Positiv and is responsible for a range of activities including procurement, fulfillment, shipping, and planning for our omnichannel business. The team works collaboratively with all other functions at O Positiv and a broad range of external vendors. This role will be responsible for managing supply planning across all 3PL locations and distribution channels (DTC, Amazon, and Retail). This includes supporting inventory purchasing decisions, planning inventory levels, coordinating special projects, and building / improving tools / processes / systems / KPIs. The Operations Supply Planner role reports into O Positiv’s Director of Operations.
The ideal candidate will be data-driven, analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, an effective communicator, and highly collaborative.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan inventory requirements for O Positiv across all 3PL locations and distribution channels (DTC, Amazon, and Retail) – integrating planning across production lead times, freight transit times, sales velocity forecasts, and required weeks of supply
- Maintain accurate supply planning files(s) by SKU across multiple sales forecast scenarios to provide full visibility of supply and identify potential out of stock risks
- Determine future capacity needs across production and fulfillment locations to meet forecasted demand by location, sales channel, and SKU
- Analyze forecast vs actual performance and incorporate deviations into future planning decisions and processes
- Partner with other internal functions to collect the required inputs, manage timelines, and communicate the potential operational / sales impact of key actions / decisions
- Work collaboratively with external suppliers to build strong accountable relationships and build planning processes together
- Work proactively with internal / external stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve potential supply / demand issues before they occur
- Manage and improve processes, tools, documentation, and S&OP processes
- Manage and track KPIs for the team and identify potential improvement opportunities
- Run ad hoc analyses and support project management of key initiatives
- Design, hire, and develop the Operations Supply Planning team over time
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years in Supply Chain, Supply / Demand planning, Forecasting
- Experience in CPG companies with DTC, Amazon, and Retail sales channels
- Startup / e-commerce / supplements experience or passion is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems a plus
Interpersonal
- Logical, structured, and analytical problem solver
- Exceptional excel skills and zero defect / error checking approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with different groups of individuals – a team player
- Ability to manage multiple moving pieces – hard working, organized, and results oriented individual
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Hours and Compensation
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $80,000 - $130,000. Compensation and title will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
