The IT Operations Manager oversees our IT services, ensuring client needs are met through effective technology solutions. Collaborating with our Chief Technology Officer and engineers, you'll drive the implementation and integration of various technologies. Responsibilities include managing engineering teams, leading projects, and maintaining security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data networks and IT systems
- Oversee IT projects and installations, collaborating with Project Managers
- Interface with various stakeholders professionally and tactfully
- Coordinate IT service requests and maintain tracking systems
- Ensure personal safety and high performance standards
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and maintain vendor relationships
- Analyze business requirements and recommend strategic technology solutions
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and administrative tasks
- Implement standards and procedures to enhance organization-wide technology efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in managed services and strategic technology planning
- Thorough knowledge of MSP RMM platforms and experience with large-scale IT environments
- Certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are preferred
- Strong technical skills in various IT domains, including cloud, security, and networking
- Experience with Hyper-converged Infrastructure and Cloud transitions is desired
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work autonomously
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and technical documentation
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime
- Job based in Schertz, TX with occasional travel
- Light travel within 100 miles of San Antonio may be required, with expenses covered.
