The Head of Analytics will be a key leader within the organization, responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping the analytics strategy, building a high-performing analytics team, and leveraging data insights to fuel growth and innovation in the InsureTech space. Key Responsibilities: • Strategy Development: Develop and execute the company’s analytics strategy, aligning it with our business objectives and market needs. • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. • Data Analysis: Utilize Tableau and other analytics tools to analyze insurance data, identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive actionable outcomes. • Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders. • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, marketing, underwriting, and technology teams to understand business requirements, prioritize analytics projects, and drive implementation. • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics, and drive process improvements to enhance our analytical capabilities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics, with significant experience using Tableau in a professional setting. • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team of analysts. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex insurance data and generate actionable insights. • Experience working in the start-up space or insurance domain knowledge is highly desirable. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus
