Title: Network Administrator
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite daily Sunday through Thursday)
Duration: 12+ Months
C2 is required
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
Required Degree Equivalency:
- 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 2 years of network or other job related experience.
- Data Center Maintenance
- Experience supporting enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets/Data Centers.
- Experience tracing, running, and connecting all types of IT cabling in professional Data Center environments (Copper, Ethernet, Fiber, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, communications, and related hardware and software.
- Knowledge of network technologies and platforms.
- Strong technical skills including problem analysis of network systems.
- Able to gather information to troubleshoot various network problems.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of common network administration, monitoring and security utilities.
