Overview: LOOKING FOR SOMEONE STRONG ON THE DEV OPPS SIDE
The IT Manager s primary responsibility is to participate in and lead the development and management of the IT department to ensure the achievement of the organization s current and future business goals.
The Manager will proactively plan, coordinate, design, and direct all IT activities. This individual will work closely with other decision-makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organization, and to ensure the IT department achieves its performance and productivity goals.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate and guide Development team on Software / Application Projects, ensure timeline for new releases.
- Lead and oversee the entire application development life cycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, mentor software developers, and maintain detailed change logs for compliance.
- Develop and implement the organization s IT strategy in order to meet agreed performance standards and objectives within budget and specified timelines.
- Monitor performance of IT systems to determine operating costs and productivity levels, and to identify potential opportunities for enhancement.
- Oversee the deployment, development, maintenance, and support of Azure Cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee negotiation and administration of all IT-related contracts (i.e., vendors, consultants, etc.)
- Oversee a heterogeneous computing environment, combining diverse software platforms and devices.
- Maintain policies, procedures and goals that support the organization s IT needs and to ensure compliance.
- Develops and maintains all IT systems documentation and ensures IT operates in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
- Develop, deploy, and monitor appropriate performance metrics.
- Plan, organize, and direct daily work schedules for team members.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of successful experience in a similar role; proven ability to build and lead teams.
- Experience in IT project management and analysis/redesign of business processes highly desired.
- Experience working with SaaS solutions such as office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange.
- Experience managing projects in a hybrid environment which include on-prem Active Directory and cloud-based Azure Active Directory
- Working experience in Azure DevOps / Infrastructure design and architecture within Azure
- Working experience in Databases like SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Working Experience in Nodejs or similar skillset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to leverage IT to support business objectives.
