Position Overview: We’re seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions. The CTO will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the tech team.
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology strategy aligned with the company's goals and market trends. Drive innovation and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a talented team of engineers, developers, and technologists. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment. Drive velocity in our product development execution and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Hands-On Coding: Possess a willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and code to actively contribute to the development process.
- Scalability: Architect and maintain a scalable and robust infrastructure to support our growing customer base and increasing data needs.
- Security: Implement and maintain best-in-class security practices to protect customer data and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Technology Partnerships: Identify and manage strategic technology partnerships and vendor relationships to enhance our product capabilities.
- Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
- M&A Integration: Successfully navigate M&A integrations, bringing solutions together and harmonizing tech stacks.
- Innovation and Research: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- Proven experience as a CTO or a senior technology leadership role in a B2B SaaS company.
- Strong background in software development, architecture, and infrastructure and a willingness/desire to stay active in coding and development.
- Experience with cloud technologies and scalable systems.
- Success history of hiring and building cohesive and high-performing engineering teams.
- In-depth experience with diverse programming languages and the capacity to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- M&A experience bringing solutions and tech stacks together for successful outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (MBA is a plus).
