ABOUT THE JOB
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with CxOs to modernize business processes and information systems. You will gather business requirements, write user stories, design business processes, and manage organizational change. You will have a blend of technical skills, business acumen, and analytical abilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications leveraging your knowledge of contemporary requirements style such as; user stories, acceptance criteria, and cucumber
- Fulfill the role of a Scrum Master and maintain responsibility for interacting across the team and with clients to perform technical requirements validations for new and existing development daily
- Ensure project milestones are met and assist Project Manager with several responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate requirement gathering sessions
- Help drive stand-ups, planning, and story-refinement/grooming sessions
- Execute market research
- Manage and communicate with clients, partners, and vendors
- Interact with the business organization representatives, including executive management, to understand and document client business needs, pain points, and to distill business processes
- Work with development team to ensure the system solves client needs
- Aid in defining the scope of projects
- Write training, help, and functional system documentation
- Help write system/technical specifications
- Design and generate data analytics and create data collection plan
- Work with Product Manager to ensure development team productivity
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or related field
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience in business analysis roles
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated research experience
- Experience on requirements analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, as well as writing project plans
- Experience in analyzing business requirements, eliciting and documenting functional specifications, creating use cases, user stories, process flows, and conducting gap analysis.
- Ability to interpret and visualize data to derive meaningful insights using various data analysis and visualization tools
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of UI/UX Design
- Experience solving operational and business process problems by redefining business models and processes
- Knowledge of front-end development JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile or Scrum certifications, or industry-specific credentials
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) – US Citizenship required
