The Information Systems Engineer designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Formulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
Evaluate and implement changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
Review flow charts, models, procedures, and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
Reviews technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes.
Educates end users on system designs and functionalities through the creation of training materials and conducting demos.
Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.
Build/Enhance new capabilities and features to expand CI/CD tools offerings
Ensure the availability of the CI products
Continuously monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance of CI Tools
Work closely with the vendor in addressing any major upgrades, plug-ins, and critical tickets
Continuous review and improve the DevSecOps CICD pipeline to ensure seamless end-to-end process from Build to Deployment across ALL SDLC and Prod environments
Work with global teams across the organization to troubleshoot critical CI tools-related issues
3 or more years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
Experience in DevOps/Development
Experience with industry-standard DevSecOps CI/CD Tools including source code repository management, CI pipeline configuration, and/or binary repository management
Development experience using either of the development platforms (Java, Python, .NET, JS)
Hands-on experience in building, enhancing, and creating automation for a CI/CD pipeline
Git-based technologies (GitLab or GitHub or Bitbucket) Jenkins or equivalent CI Tool
Good understanding of SAFe/Agile
Experience with Containerization /Kubernetes
Experience with OpenShift
Experience with working either Maven or Gradle
Hands-on knowledge of the following tools: Groovy or Similar
Experience with Security Scanning tools - X-ray, CheckMarx, Twistlock, or any similar tools
Artifactory or similar
