As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against evolving cyber threats. Additionally, this position will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure and network administration for all regions outside of China, including the supervision of up to ten IT professionals.
About the role:
As the Sr. Director Cybersecurity at Mattson Technology, you will be a key member of our IT department, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our complex IT infrastructure. You will bring a sophisticated understanding of cyber threats and a deep knowledge of how to prevent incidents through layered defenses. Additionally, this role will be tasked with optimization of our IT infrastructure and network to prevent Cybersecurity incidents. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security strategies and policies.
1. Cyber Threat Analysis: Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and provide timely intelligence to proactively protect the organization.
2. Security Policy and Procedure Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to mitigate the impact of security incidents and prevent future occurrences.
4. Security Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Network and Endpoint Security: Implement and manage advanced security solutions for network and endpoint protection, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint detection and response tools.
6. Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a security-conscious culture.
7. Security Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the company's security posture.
8. Security Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk assessments and collaborate with teams to prioritize security enhancements based on identified risks.
9. Vendor and Third-Party Security: Evaluate and ensure the security posture of third-party vendors and partners, establishing security requirements and monitoring compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
- Proven experience in managing network administration teams, with excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Strong expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus solutions.
- Experience with cloud security, network security, and application security.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
