I need an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
for an onsite position in Las Vegas, NV.
As the AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based network infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of IT industry experience with a focus on cloud networking
- Expertise in Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon Route 53, and more
- Strong grasp of network design principles and hybrid networking configurations
- Proficiency in implementing VPC security groups, IAM roles, and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CDN, and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), or relevent technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch for ensuring network performance and security
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, VPN, BGP, and VPC peering
- Demonstrated ability in scaling and optimizing network resources for cost efficiency and superior performance
- Experience with network migration strategies and compliance/governance considerations
- Familiarity with protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, and RDP
- Understanding of AWS PrivateLink, AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager, and S3 Transfer Acceleration
