We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our fast-growing startup. As a System Administrator, you will have responsibility for managing and maintaining our company's computer systems, networks, and software. The System Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure, implementing robust security measures, and providing technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure components.
- Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions to ensure proper access controls.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Implement and enforce security measures, including configuring firewalls and managing antivirus software.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees, resolving user issues promptly.
- Maintain documentation on system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Review system configurations and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement patches and updates to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with security concepts and best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Proficient in scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
