- Title: Network Administrator
- Location: Tallahassee, FL (onsite)
- Duration: 6+ months
- Visa: USC or GC
- Requirements: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required); Experience in network administration (10+ years); Experience as a Senior Network Administrator (5+ years); Experience with at least one of the following: F5, Palo Alto, VMware, Hyper-V; Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio (preferred);
Experience With PowerPoint And SharePoint (preferred).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop standards, procedures, and documentation;
Devise and recommend short- and long-range plans for development and enhancement of hardware and production systems;
Develop and enforce production standards and policies working in conjunction with the senior network engineer and database administrator;
Follow IT processes and coordinate with other IT staff to ensure compliance with the standards;
Work closely with other IT groups and customers to define customer needs and objectives;
Analyze and assess the network infrastructure and operations;
Recommend and implement policies and procedures for the day-to-day operations;
Administration and management support of the network enterprise;
Serve as a .NET developer on software application projects;
Provide support to the network and infrastructure team. Cost/Benefit analysis;
Offer technical support in the group;
Ensure quality control in accordance with project QA/QC procedures, method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans are in contracts and monitoring;
Review and oversee EPC Contractor design and engineering;
Monitor equipment and material compliance with specifications;
Monitor engineering to ensure engineering deliverables meet project schedule needs;
Conduct site investigations and inspections to support bidding, contracting efforts and contract compliance;
Check equipment, materials, and work in progress at the factory or in field for compliance with the specified requirements;
Resolve technical issues with engineers, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and statutory authorities;
Ensure technical reports and record drawings are complete;
Ensure commissioning and operational and maintenance information is adequate and provided in a timely fashion;
Support the project execution with technical knowledge throughout the engineering, construction, and startup phases of the project.
