Position: Info Security Analyst
Location: Ft Lauderdale, FL OR Irving, TX
Duration: 12 months (with long term possibility)
) Conducts trend analysis on cyber threat activity or geopolitical threat landscape
- Produces written intelligence products for both technical and non-technical customers
- Certifications, such as CISSP, Security+, CySa a plus
- Training to include SANS corses (SANS 301/SANS 401, eg)
- Years of experience not as critical as the TYPE of experience. So, if you have 10 years experience, but in IT support, that doesn't help as much as three years as an Intelligence Analyst working Cyber matters
Job Description
Contract analyst will serve as an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst on the Collection team.
Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to triage, process, analyse, intelligence alerts, reports, and briefings
Monitor and research cyber threats with a direct or indirect impact to the Client brand
Assess cyber threat data and correlate with existing understanding of cyber threats impacting the Client franchise
Ascertain the impact of an attack and develop threat trends to assess their overall impact and inform senior decision makers
Complete the daily operational components of the intelligence mission
Assume informal/formal mentor role within teams and assist with the coaching and training of new team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
