We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Computer & Information Systems Manager to join our team as part of a larger federal contract with the IRS. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the IT operations of our organization. This role requires managing subordinates, personnel issues, and providing strategic direction. You should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management capacity, including financial management, tracking, and fiscal oversight of program funding. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in program management related to cybersecurity government work is required, and a working knowledge of IRS organizations, including their infrastructure, responsibilities, programs, and initiatives is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, providing strategic guidance and direction within the context of the larger federal contract with the IRS.
- Oversee the management of subordinates, including handling personnel issues, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development.
- Ensure effective financial management, tracking, and fiscal oversight of program funding, working in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cybersecurity programs and initiatives aligned with the requirements of the federal contract.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain optimal IT operations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of IRS organizations, including their infrastructure, responsibilities, programs, and initiatives, to support effective decision-making and coordination.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the IT department to drive excellence and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical, business, or management discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management capacity, with responsibilities for personnel management and financial oversight.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management related to cybersecurity government work, with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in this domain.
- Working knowledge of IRS organizations, infrastructure, responsibilities, programs, and initiatives is preferred.
- Possess at least one of the following IT certifications or licenses: CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+, CE, HCISPP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), CCISO.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and initiatives within the constraints of a federal contract environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and drive successful outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles, with a focus on ensuring robust security measures.

Core Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management capacity with responsibilities for management of subordinates and personnel issues and direction, in addition to relevant experience with responsibility for financial management, tracking and fiscal oversight of program funding.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in program management related to cybersecurity government work. Working knowledge of the IRS organizations, including their infrastructure, responsibilities, programs, and initiatives is preferred.
