QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience supporting, and implementing Terraform for Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud Technologies in accordance with industry best practices
- Experience with or desire to learn HashiCorp Vault, Consul, Nomad, and Packer technologies
- Professional Services experience in large enterprise deployments is a plus
- Fluent understanding of Agile and/or ITIL practices
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
- Independent, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Troubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems)
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Proven experience working with Terraform to implement Infrastructure as Code
- Excellent understanding of Terraform modules, providers, state, workspaces, etc.
- Experience integrating version controls systems such as GitLab and GitHub with Terraform Enterprise
- Solid understanding of Terraform best practices
- Expert-level knowledge on installing, configuring and maintaining Terraform Enterprise (individual instances and clustering)
- Expert-level knowledge of SAML, OAuth/OpenID and other authentication mechanisms
- Expert-level understanding of public/hybrid/private cloud compute, networking, storage, security, etc.
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems administration
- Working knowledge of Active Directory
- Solid understanding of containers and immutable infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Sentinel
- Solid understanding of Highly Availability in production environments
- Understanding of wider HashiCorp tooling highly desired (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad, Packer and Vagrant)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.) a plus
- Experience creating comprehensive documentation for hand-off to technical teams
STRONGLY DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Ansible, Azure DevOps, CloudFormation, Packer, Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Experience with manipulating RESTful APIs to programmatically automate manual tasks
- Familiarity with the Cloud ecosystem, products and solutions
- Industry Certifications related to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working with and integrating other vendors such as VMware, Red Hat and cloud related ISVs
