The IT Manager will assist in overseeing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and security of the company’s information systems and processes including computer, communication, and office systems. Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in a global marketplace
- Enable faster and smarter IT business processes, and implement analytics for meaningful insights
- Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Direct and coordinate professional services such as systems analysis and design, feasibility studies, and programming of information, communication, and office automation systems
- Identify and recommend new technologies and services that will improve efficiency, processes, and operations; reviews requests for additional services and upgrades, assessing the costs and benefits to the organization
- Recommend the purchase, rent, lease, license, or other acquisition of hardware, software, or services needed to meet company needs
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of computerized information systems, communication systems, and office systems including the security of data acquired and stored
- Maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of IS staff, equipment, and procedures
- Provide input into the IS budget and monitors spending against the approved budget.
- Interact with the multiple layers in organization to troubleshoot, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
- Maintain service desk ticketing system and departmental knowledgebase
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science or related work experience
- Minimum of three years’ work experience in a corporate IT environment, or for a managed service provider
- Manage, measure, and assess IT service levels for internal IT operations, and managed service providers
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, caching, and cloud processing/storage
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex systems
- Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication abilities
- Experience with emerging AI and ML technologies would be a plus
- Project management planning, scheduling, resource management would be a plus

- Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, CloudFront)
- Microsoft Active Directory (Azure Active Directory)
- Cisco / Meraki core and edge switch platforms, wireless networks
- Microsoft / Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams)
- Zoom VoIP Communications Platform
- VMWare, Microsoft Windows Server, CentOS operating systems
- Apple OS X, iOS
- Storage network experience, preferably 500 plus TB
- Backup and recovery solutions
