TeraSky is seeking an exceptional Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong skill set and extensive experience to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the technical sales process throughout our sales cycles, collaborating across TeraSky's extensive portfolio to deliver exceptional solutions to our valued customers.
As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for architecting cutting-edge solutions utilizing the following technologies:
- Public Cloud Services: AWS and GCP.
- HashiCorp stack – Terraform, Vault, Packer, and Consul.
- DevOps and DevSecOps - Kubernetes ecosystem (EKS, GKE, VMware Tanzu), serverless, Aqua, Palo Alto Prisma, Snyk.
Your work will encompass a range of stimulating activities, including consulting engagements with customers to deliver cloud-based solutions, creating technical papers and documentation, conducting research, and benchmarking of emerging technologies, and preparing engaging technical sessions for both internal and external audiences. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex cross-platform sales processes within demanding customer environments in the United States.
- Collaborate closely with account managers throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with our delivery experts during both the sales process and project implementation.
- Identify and address customer needs comprehensively.
- Act as the technical trusted advisor to customers, managing their expectations alongside the account managers. Play an active role in strategic roadmap decisions for TeraSky, encompassing technologies and products.
- Stay updated on market trends and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a solution architect or presales engineer. Previous experience as a consultant in relevant fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in public cloud technologies, specifically AWS (Solution Architect Associate Level - MUST) and GCP (Advantage).
- Solid understanding of Containers and Container Orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge of networking and security is advantageous.
- Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines and associated best practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of message queues architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ) within service-oriented applications is advantageous.
- Broad perspective of IT and business system flows.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Public Cloud is advantageous.
- Ability to articulate high-level solution documents and scope of work documents.
- Experience in managing complex processes and projects at the presales level, with a focus on integration across multiple components and stakeholders, is advantageous.
- Involvement and experience with proof of concepts (POCs).
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, positive attitude, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

For applicants in the United States, the potential yearly compensation or "OTE" (including commission for sales positions and salary for other roles) for this job spans from $230,000 to $280,000. The final offer will consider the specific role, location, and the candidate's unique experience. Additional incentives such as bonuses, commissions, or equity may be available for this position
