Position Title: Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (Remote)
Duration : 6+ months of Contract with possibility of extension
To ensure that applications are protected and from inappropriate access, disclosure and/or damage. To advocate for and execute the secure software processes and practices of the Cybersecurity team while supporting business and customer needs.
25% Develop/Enhance companywide Application security best practices and contribute to the tooling/processes.
25% Research information security improvements and brief management.
25% Remain up to date on Information Security vulnerability trends and emergent threats.
25% Assess, plan, and execute security measures in a layered approach to protect the organization.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience: 3-4 years of relevant cyber security experience. Technically hands-on in any of the software development technologies. Preferably some PM experience in working with the stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision., Proficient
Ability to explain technical information to technical and nontechnical personnel., Proficient
Proficiency in the cybersecurity domain. , Proficient

Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management techniques, frameworks, best practices and industry/regulatory requirements., Proficient
The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs. Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Any Technology certifications such as java , python, AWS, SalesForce certifications.
Any industry recognized security certifications.
