Job Description
Will support Test Engineering Team in support of Fortinet’s Cyber Security and network products.
- Performing Fortinet product inspection , Mainly in IQC department.
- Based on working instruction to complete jobs.
- Test multi node systems in VM environment
- Perform BIOS, IPMI, CPLD OS testing
- Need assembling/disassembling systems for working purpose. Ability to solder circuit board (motherboard) is preferred.
- Upgrading or downgrading software or firmware per instructions.
- Modifying test scripts per specifications changes.
- Work closely with Product Managers on PM Projects
- Summarizing testing reports and problems finding in writing.
Qualification
- Experience in testing
- Experience/Knowledge with scripting ( Python/TCL/ Perl / Shell / PHP ) and database is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information system or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to lift 40 lbs
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000-$102,500. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
