Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on moderately complex problems that require an appropriate level of knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Apply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions. Assist other senior consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, andor maintenance efforts in the following specialties information systems architecture, networking telecommunications, automation communications protocols, risk managementelectronic analysis, software lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation. Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise. Define, review and enforce information security policy, standards and guidelines for business operations and technology implementations. Proactively speculate and identify IT security risks from technical and functional perspectives. Conduct technical security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and forensic IT functions. Configure and manage SIEM tools. Coordinate and lead security project implementations. Qualifications 1. At least a 4-Year Bachelorrsquos Degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Information Technology or 8 years of experience in IT Engineering or IT security and 2. At least one of the relevant Security andor Architecture certifications - Security + (Plus) Continuing Education (CE) Certification, CAP or Certified Information Security Manger (CISM) or CISSP or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership (GSLC) certification required.
