ROLE: SR. LINUX ENGINEER (12+ Years of experience)

HYBRID: 2 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (at least 3 days a week)

Tasks
Engineering and administration of UNIX & Linux Systems.
Engineering of Veritas products including Cluster Server, Volume Manager, File System / other clustering & replication technologies.
Execute Unix performance related utilities.
Engineering and administration of SUN/UNIX/ Linux based systems.
Participate as a senior member of mission critical / public safety application deployments teams.
Engineering and administration of SAN storage infrastructure.
Work with Oracle Database Sun Management Center, mysql, db2 and oracle database, Experience Percona XtraDB Cluster, Sendmail, Solaris Security, Jumpstart, & LDAP; TIVOLI, BLADELOGIC, NETIQ, VMWARE, DNS, NFS, Solaris Zones, RedHat Satellite Server.
Perform scripting (bash/ksh, PERL, Python).
Mandatory Skills
Engineering and administration of RHEL/SUN/UNIX based systems.
Engineering of Veritas products including Cluster Server, Volume Manager, File System / other clustering & replication technologies.
Execute RHEL/SUN/UNIX/ performance related utilities.
Engineering and administration of RHEL/SUN/UNIX based systems.
Engineer and Administration of RedHat Satellite Server.
Engineer and Administration of RedHat Ansible solution with VMware and creation of Playbooks
Engineering and Administration of Database Solution such as Oracle, MYSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL and Percona XtraDB Cluster,
Participate as a senior member of mission critical / public safety application deployments teams.
Experience with Sendmail, Solaris Security, Jumpstart, LDAP, TIVOLI, BLADELOGIC, NETIQ, DNS, NFS and Solaris Zones.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
Experience with Linux BIND DNS, Men and Mice DNS and InfoBlox DNS
Perform scripting (bash/ksh, PERL, Python).
