Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Location: Florida (100% Remote)
Duration:6+ months
Need independent candidates ( no c2c)
Pay rate: 55-58 on W2.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Check Point and/or Palo Alto firewall systems in a large enterprise environment.
- Check Point and/or Palo Alto Certification, preferred.
- Experience with Enterprise Firewall policy management with Check Point and Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with VMWare NSX Distributed firewalls (Optional)
- Experience with Enterprise Firewall Policy reviews, audits and remediation
- Experience with Firewall Policy management and Compliance tool Tufin (Optional)
- Experience with Automation of firewall rule creation and reporting Python and Terraform (Optional)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
Special Qualifications
- Ability to update firewall policies/rules and troubleshoot as needed.
Work Description
Network Security Engineering Firewalls Policy Management and Compliance, Problem determination
- Configure firewall policies based on submitted access requests.
- Perform problem determination and resolution on Check Point and Palo Alto firewall policies.
- Perform firewall policy auditing and compliance using Tufin.
