A team member responsible for managing and securing Microsoft Windows and VMware ESX infrastructure, providing support to all computer users-front office and manufacturing personnel-through help desk. The position is responsible for managing, securing, and maintaining all PCs, servers, network and corporate data to support business and operational needs.
Work in a small, collaborative environment where one is not siloed in one area, with opportunities to take on new projects and learn new skills. They have upcoming migrations projects, moving items to the cloud and this person will get the chance to be part of that team. Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Responsibilities Include
Work in a team of two Network Support professionals to support and manage secure IT Infrastructure used host and process large amounts of sensitive data.
Manage virtual environment comprising of VMWare, SAN and NAS technologies, and server environment that includes Microsoft Server OS versions 2022, 2019 and 2012 R2, and some Linux.
Support hardware and software for diverse onsite and remote workforce. The onsite workforce includes front office and manufacturing plant employees.
- Provide in-person help desk assistance to onsite users and remote help desk assistance to remote users.
- Provision Windows 10+ laptops and desktops per enterprise policies and provisioning tools like Microsoft Intune.
Manage local Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Administer DNS, DHCP, Group/Local Policies, and domain/local user accounts for Microsoft domain.
Manage various SaaS applications including Microsoft 365 email, spam-filtering services, and collaboration suites.
Maintain network consisting of Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki hardware.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on infrastructure and security initiatives.
Maintain security infrastructure including perimeter firewall, endpoint security, network security and data security.
Support MFA and SSO technologies used to secure applications and Identities.
Run the enterprise backup program using Veeam and Zerto.
Work with DRaaS partner to maintain the Disaster Recovery site.
Administer internet and intranet sites.
Administer cloud hosted VOIP phone system.
Manage MFP fleet and print servers.
Provide and maintain documentation for network, systems, and issues, collaborating on solutions and working out plans with VP.
Perform infrastructure upgrades working with cross-functional Line-Of-Business group while maintaining uptime.
Management of assets including computing equipment, peripherals, and software licenses.
Completes various other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Network Administration or related field, or additional equivalent training/experience.
2-3 years of help desk experience in Windows network environment.
2+ years of network administration experience.
2+ years IT systems (e.g., ERP, CRM and such) administration experience.
A thorough knowledge of Windows 10+ and Windows 2012 R2+ operating systems in domain environments.
Hands-on experience administering desktops fleet (onsite and remote).
Hands-on experience managing, deploying, maintaining (and sometimes repairing) desktops.
Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization, and patience helping users troubleshoot technical issues.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must have good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Preferred
Cloud phone system administration experience.
Managing MFP fleet and printing services.

The employee frequently is required to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls, and have excellent manual dexterity on the PC keyboard.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach above shoulders. Flexibility is required to bend under the cubes when moving equipment.
The employee must infrequently lift and/or move, with a cart, up to 40 pounds.
Vision abilities are required by this job and will include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while using the computer monitor.
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Flexible hybrid schedule based on department rotating schedule for in-office assignments.
