IT System Administrator – Managed Services Provider Role Overview
We are a full-service IT consulting, networking, cloud, security, and IT solutions firm serving customers nationwide. Our company is celebrating 20 years in business this year and are excited to have maintained over a decade of continuous growth (even in 2020). Our NJ team is seeking an IT MSP experienced System Administrator – Managed Services Provider. The IT System Administrator – Managed Services Provider will work on a team of 10 with the ability to work from home 2-3 days per week depending on client/company needs.
The IT System Administrator – Managed Services Provider will take L2/L3 tickets from ConnectWise work on projects autonomously, and with Senior Engineers. The IT System Administrator – Managed Services Provider should be familiar with a majority of the following technologies: Watchguard, SonicWALL, Office 365, Azure, AWS, Citrix, Windows Server, VMWare, Veeam, Bitdefender, Exclaimer, Passportal, Proofpoint, Addigy, SentinelOne, Umbrella.
IT System Administrator – Managed Services Provider Requirements
- M365/Exchange experience – administration and migrations
- Advanced server level knowledge and troubleshooting experience (AD/GPO/Scripting)
- Proficient with Windows Server 2012 R2 and newer
- Proficient with virtualization platforms including VMWare and/or Hyper-V
- Proficient with Active Directory, and GPO
- Proficient with DNS, DHCP, and DFS
- Firewall experience (configuration and troubleshooting)
- Azure AD and InTune experience
