Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and security architecture with hands-on experience designing and implementing security solutions in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architecture solutions for public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and remediate security risks.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on security best practices for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security reviews of third-party vendors and service providers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to ensure the security posture of the organization is continually improving.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture with hands-on experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and industry standards.
- Experience with security controls for infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of network and web-related protocols(e.g., TCP/IP,HTTP,HTTPS,SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Google Cloud Security Command Center.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security
- Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer are a plus.
