Job Description
API Management Platform Admin
- Provision, configure and operate Azure API Management service according to best practices.
- Ensure SLAs are maintained.
- Provide consulting and advisory services to teams/individuals as they begin to acquire skills and grow use of the platform.
Skills/Experience
- 5 years hands-on with Microsoft's API Management and related products preferably in Azure (versus on-premises)
- Advance Azure API Management setup, configuration and support skills, which should include gateway functionality, consumer credential provisioning and management, policy specification and enforcement, developer portal configuration, topology modeling and deployment, etc.
- Nice to have: leverage APIM functionality alongside Azure DevOps (especially pipelines), security scanning products (e.g. Snyk, SonarQube), Backstage.io, CMDB/Asset Management products, etc.
