- Science and Technology: As the Science Officer, you are responsible for all science-related activities of the Enterprise. This includes enhancing our AI/ML core algorithms, developing LLM and ANN Foundation Models, managing Data-Ops and ML-Ops, and furthering our AGI research and development.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Whenever the Enterprise encounters a technological issue during our voyages, support the diagnosis of the problem and devise a solution.
- Ideation to Deployment: As mission leader, you'll guide the development of our MVP, overseeing each stage from ideation, design, development, and testing, to the ultimate deployment in uncharted territories of AI/AGI application.
- Team Leadership: You’ll mentor the crew of our Enterprise, lead a rapidly expanding team of developers, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and bold innovation.
- External Management: Oversee relationships with vendor agencies and contractors, ensuring the seamless integration of their work into our mission.
- Partnerships and Trend Radar: Aid in selecting our AI partners through thorough technical evaluation and stay on top of warp-speed industry trends to keep us on the cutting edge of AI/AGI innovation.
- Tactical and Strategic Analysis: Provide the business team with advice related to the product and company vision, leveraging your logical reasoning and strategic planning.
- Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet our customer and/or government security screening requirements are must-have for this role. This includes but is not limited to a pre-Employment Cloud Background Check and to pass Background Check Security Screenings every 2 years after that.
- 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software developer, with strong immersion in various AI/ML fields
- Fluency in AI APIs, machine learning libraries (like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), and various database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Ability to deploy solutions across the cloud stack - from private clouds like on-premise to public clouds like AWS and Azure.
- Experience in multiple development roles, including full-stack, back-end, front-end, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
- Track record of leading agile teams and building an inclusive and supportive environment for a team with diverse backgrounds.
- Stellar communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical crew members.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Experience with MS Office APIs like PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership in project management.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with AGI research or development.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.
- Experience with web and mobile application development.
