Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience in Networking, hardware, software setup, and validation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols and hands-on experience with network configuration, device monitoring, and data center rack setup. This role will involve working with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper devices, utilizing Python for automation, and performing network triage in data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Networking Setup & Validation:
- Configure and monitor networking devices such as Cisco, Arista, and Juniper.
- Install and configure network switches, including Switch OS installation and port configuration.
- Validate and benchmark networking products.
Networking Protocols & Topologies:
- Possess an in-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
- Work with various networking topologies and troubleshoot network issues across the infrastructure.
Data Center Operations:
- Set up and maintain data center racks with networking switches.
- Understand and manage network packet flows from servers to switches.
- Conduct triage for data center networking issues.
Testing & Benchmarking:
- Perform front-end networking tests, including bandwidth and latency testing, in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Benchmark networking products for performance in data center settings.
Scripting & Automation:
- Write and maintain Python scripts for network configuration and automation.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate repetitive network configuration tasks.
Operating Systems:
- Work with Linux OS to handle networking tasks and configurations.
- Support networking operations in Windows environments as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in networking, including hardware and software setup, configuration, and validation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper devices.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
- Experience with data center rack setups, network switch configuration, and network packet flow management.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for network automation.
- Experience with network testing, including bandwidth and latency testing, in Windows and Linux environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux OS, with experience in configuring and troubleshooting networks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in network triage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multiple networking topologies.
- Prior experience in benchmarking networking products.
- Familiarity with front-end networking tests in both Windows and Linux environments.
