The Associate Vice President, Investments position is based at our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles and supports the Investments team through transaction management including financial analysis, research, due diligence, as well as, asset monitoring functions.
The Associate Vice President, Investments role is an integral part of the CIM team working directly with Investment Leads, Principals and Founders. You will work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment and, while focusing on Infrastructure investments, will also gain valuable exposure to CIM’s wide range of asset types and investment platforms active in principal investing in each element of the capital stack. This position will have significant exposure to CIM’s fast growing infrastructure investment strategies (Digital, Renewable Energy, Waste & Water, Energy Transition in North America and will be responsible for financial analytics, underwriting and research, due diligence, loan sourcing and closing, and investment monitoring.
Top performers in this position are dedicated, self-motivated individuals with at least three years of experience working in finance and private investments, an MBA degree or equivalent, superb critical thinking skills, proven commercial judgement and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
