As our business continues to grow and expand, we are looking to hire an IT Manager to oversee all our IT needs. We are looking for a driven candidate with a versatile background working with both Microsoft technologies and Apple products.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Provide and manage on-site and remote support for end users.
Fulfil hardware requests for staff, maintaining proper tracking via FedEx or similar carriers.
Maintain inventory of all hardware assets
Be actively involved in vendor management, negotiations, and contract management for all key technology needs.
Ensure the office technology is running smoothly, pre-empting any issues that may arise and dealing with them quickly and calmly.
Liaise with departments throughout the organization to understand strategies and develop project and process improvement plans to enable those strategies.
Provide on-site technical support at our Founder’s homes
Work closely with an external IT support company for all high-level infrastructure needs, project managing any security improvements required across both offices
Take on additional projects as and when required including but not limited to, building and designing registration websites, managing various domain purchases, and providing on-site technical support to high-profile clients

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Tier 2 level of support essential
Entertainment / Media industry experience essential
Ability to communicate quickly, clearly, and succinctly with all levels of staff, including C-Suite
Strong knowledge of Apple products
Experience working in a start-up or other fast-paced environment
A proven track record of implementing forward thinking technology-based solutions and preferred experience with data centre management, cloud-computing, web applications, system integrations, and mobile computing
Ability to always maintain a calm and professional manner, even in stressful situations
Ability to show effective communication, innovative ideas, analytical abilities, and passion for technology
Experience with licensing servers and multiple virtual environments
Enjoys working independently and as well as with others
Discreet and trustworthy, especially when liaising with high-profile clients
Passion for teaching “technically challenged” colleagues
Backend / coding experience desirable but not essential
