Summary:

The System Administrator will provide desktop IT support to internal users at Verified First. The person in this role will also work with the IT & Engineering team with resolving security, networking, and application issues.

How our System Administrator spends their time:

Provide desktop support to users at Verified First including but not limited to hardware, phone issues, and software;
Onboarding and offboarding of all users;
Administer the company’s MDM solution;
Provide application support for the background screening application;
Microsoft Active Directory administration
Educate internal users on how to use hardware and software;
Work with vendors to resolve software issues that may arise;
Network setup and troubleshooting;
Network and company security evaluation;
Participate in the day-to-day routing application related tickets in support of the Verified First Engineering team;
Maintains site licenses for the department and organization;
Work with a team of individuals troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, IT
Assist in executing technology-related projects;
Assist in application deployments and application testing;
Administer company communication systems (telecom, email, chat);
Work as a member of the security team;
Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets and service requests assigned to the team in accordance with SLO’s and SLA’s
Assist in defining and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, and maintaining information security for company hardware;
Assist in installing, administering, and managing hardware, software, and peripheral components;
Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions;
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
Meet all SLA’s and SLO’s as defined by management;
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred;
4+ years of advanced work on PC’s, Network + and Security;
4+ years experience helping end-users with hardware, software solutions in a help desk related role, CRM experience, VOIP experience;
Proven track record of troubleshooting technical solutions and explaining them to a non-IT professional;
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory;
Advanced knowledge with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Applications;
Experience with cloud-based networks;
Unix shell experience preferred
Call center support experience preferred.
